Growing up, my parents read me “Cheaper by the Dozen” by Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey, which shaped my perspective on efficiency. Coming from a family of 11 children, I learned to simplify complex issues.
As a high school math teacher, I aimed to make mathematics accessible for my students. Later, as a school and district leader, I focused on understanding challenges and implementing straightforward solutions for teachers and leaders. Ultimately, I earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Information and Learning Sciences with an emphasis on organizational development and root cause analysis.
In 2017, I founded Performance Improvement Consultants of New Mexico LLC to help adults enhance their impact. My work includes collaborating with the Public Education Department in NM; school districts; charter schools; educational leaders; teachers; and recently a manufacturing company specializing in high-end ductwork.
My team consists of talented consultants dedicated to providing quality support with integrity. If you think we can assist you, please reach out! It never hurts to have a conversation!
